We are a veteran owned and operated full service blacksmith shop, located in the heart of the Ottawa Valley at 1043 Pembroke Street East, in Pembroke, Ontario. 

Lanny Hill - Owner/Operator
Lanny has always been interested in historical architecture and craftsmanship of ancient cultures, specifically the Roman Empire.
This interest evolved over time in the military as he was very fortunate to travel to many parts of the world where he could observe and investigate different styles and elements of architecture and ironwork, most notably the classical and Gothic styles.
He has recently retired from the military and transitioned to full time blacksmith, firstly taking short courses and blacksmith training from the previous owner of Forged in Canada, and culminating in the Artist Blacksmith Program at Fleming College.

Derek Hill
Derek has previous experience as a granite installer and is currently gaining experience and honing blacksmithing skills in the shop.

Shane Stackpole 
Upon retiring from the military after 17 years service, Shane transitioned to blacksmithing, completing the Artist Blacksmith course at Fleming College in Haliburton, On. He has worked on numerous projects for local residents and organizations, as well as large projects, recently collaborating with the Ontario Artist Blacksmith Association (OABA).
