What kinds of services DOES forged in canada offer?
We offer blacksmith courses ranging from 3 hour workshops to 5 day courses, we also work with clients on custom projects such as railings, custom rings, and decorative ironwork. Other services include forge rental, with access to specialized blacksmith equipment and tools and customizable team building events for families and organizations. Can I try it out before i commit to a full course?
Yes, you sure can. Our 3 hour introduction to blacksmithing workshop is designed for guests who aren't sure if they'll like it or not. You'll work on a small leaf keychain project to get you familiar with working in a forge and using blacksmithing tools.
what do i need to bring for a workshop or course?
All you need to bring is durable, closed toed footwear and natural fibre clothing (jeans, tshirts, etc). We provide safety glasses, ear and hand protection, as well as masks and aprons for those who may want them. Fresh water is available on site, we recommend bringing a water bottle to refill and hydrate as you work.
What are the times for the workshops and courses?
The 3 hour Thursday night workshops start at 5pm and end at 8pm, the full day workshops run from 9am and end at 4pm. The 2 day and 5 day courses run from 9am to 4pm each day. We break for a full hour at lunch for full day events.
Is there parking at the shop?
Yes, we have 12 parking spots at our location, marked with white parking signs that have our anvil logo on them along the west side of the plaza.

What are my payment options?
For online registrations and store orders, all major credit cards are accepted. For in store purchases, we offer CC, debit and cash payments. For Credit Card purchases, we include a 2.4% credit card processing fee.
How do I know if a course is full?
Our registration pages are set to certain limits based on each course, if the course you are trying to register is full, it won't let you register, the system will give you a message saying "this course is currently full, please choose another date".
